Regular application of Hirudoid or Arnica cream can also help bruising.
If an intravenous or intramuscular site starts to show signs of infection (such as ooze pus, ache or throb, become hot and inflamed, or is tracking in a red line), please contact GP or if the infection is serious, please phone 000 and seek immediate medical attention.
On rare occasions, patients may experience detoxification symptoms such as night sweats, feeling of general malaise and headaches; these are short lived in most cases. Hydrate, rest and contact the clinic and GP if the symptoms do not dissipate within 48 hours.
